Romans 8:1

King James Version

8 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

Respectfully part B of the verse is just as important as part A. There is condemnation to those in Christ who walk after the flesh. This draws attention not to our justification but our sanctification. If this would be an impossibility for those in Christ to walk after the flesh there would be no need for Romans 6 and 7.

Angela you are exactly correct - my omission of part B of Romans 8:1 wasn't an attempt to correct the Bible, nor subvert the condemnation Paul was experiencing as a believer under the law per Romans 7, nor teach contrary doctrine. I did use liberty to use that expression (citing the reference) for my point on justification - for it is true concerning justification and that kind of condemnation there is no more of for those in Christ no matter the condemnation of walking after the flesh as a believer. Maybe I should have just used Romans 5 as not to confuse anyone who knows of the correct point you are making to which I agree with. I appreciate your comments and hope my brief response to your comments upheld truth and communicated the intent of my heart.
